Potty Training Purgatory

Potty training sucks!  Okay I know that is not what a mom planning on potty training wants to hear, but I am going to be real.  Whose bright idea was it to cancel all of life and stay home for days on end with a peeing and pooping little thing?  Oh yeah… mine!?!  Doh!
I know that it could be a whole lot worse, so don’t get my wrong!  Potty training is messy and the hopes of being done are what is pushing me through the ugly.  Oh the day of not having to change diapers are close I know but until they get here I am doomed to clean up urine spots around the house and wash laundry constantly.
Friday was day one… little brother had seven accidents from the time he woke up until he went to bed (6:40am to 8:15pm).  Saturday there were six accidents from time he woke up until he went to bed (6:30am to 7:45pm).  Sunday there have been six accidents from the time he woke up to the present time.  All accidents have been of the liquid persuasion, thank God, all number twos have been successfully placed in the potty.
My biggest frustration currently are these cluster accidents.  You know the ones, where there is an accident I take him to the potty and not even five minutes later he has another accident.  What the heck is up with those?  Guuurrr!  I have to say that I did loose my temper a little this afternoon after three cluster accidents.  One good thing is that when he does have an accident he is running to me and telling me “peepee”, yes, he is too late but at least he is recognizing that the wetness is not a good thing.
I am not going to throw in the towel.  I do plan to continue with the potty training.  I will say that it will not be the quick two day excursion like it was for big brother and I am praying it is not the eight months it was for middle brother.  I am not a fan of using pull ups however I do want to leave the house without multiple outfits for little brother and with as many appointments that brothers have our lives are busy and on the go, so pull ups will be employed.
Keep me in your thoughts, pray that my frustration level does not spike and that we all make it through this stage in one piece and with not too many more grey hairs.
