A Little Life Catch Up

I promise we are still here!  I have had a mind full of stuff but nothing worth bothering you with.  I feel like I get to the end of the days and wander what I actually completed… ahhh – It sure is frustrating!
Zeke and Ki are on their second session of swim lessons.  The have one more week of that, then a week off and then Zeke starts kindergarten.  Yikes!
I will be honest here, there is a part of me that is feeling like I might actually be open to homeschooling.  I know don’t all gasp at once!  The thought of Zeke being gone five days a week for three hours is kind of sad to me  On top of that Ki will be in school two days a week for three hours.  I will only have one baby at home with me and I am feeling kind of blue over that thought!
Zeke has finished his allotted speech through our insurance and now I am trying to get him speech through his school.  Ki has been doing so awesome on his speech that I have moved him to once every other week.  Riah has his evaluations for hearing, speech and language at the end of this month.  So my days will still be busy with getting boys to therapy sessions.
Zeke starts his first week of soccer next Friday.  They have two weeks of practices and then begin the games.  I have not even told Zeke about when it is that soccer begins because I know that I will have to answer him every day with “how many fingers”…  Some things are better left as a surprise!
Michael has been working a ton!  Last week he put in sixty hours in four days.  This week was not quiet so crazy but he is working today which means that he only gets a one day weekend!  I sure do treasure how much he works for our family!
I have been busy MOPSing… no that is not a real word but it is what my MOPS group has affectionately coined.  MOPS year begins on the 30th and there is a lot of pre-work that goes into that.  As we have begun to plan away this year I am already looking at the year to come… that is 2013/2014 – I know I tend to plan the fun out of life itself at times!  Last weekend I actually got to go on the MOPS Steering planning retreat that we have every year in Keystone.  It was nice to get away and spend some time with a bunch of ladies that have become such great friends.  I have been truly blessed by my connections through MOPS.
Since Michael was working the day away today and the temperatures outside weren’t so bad the boys and I headed to the Paris Street Market and enjoyed walking around looking at all the antiques… well I enjoyed it the boys were along for the ride!  After we went to the park and I snapped a few pictures of my little men, we played on the playground and then home again home again… jigity jig!
Hope that you are having an enjoyable weekend!  Love from us to you!
