When being a mom you realize that you need to seize every minute of your day with your kids. Reasoning behind it… well your kids can go from sweet little angels to monsters in ten minutes. Lately my boys have been trying my patience. We do fine in the morning, that being because we are running from one thing to another. Once lunch and nap time come rolling around things go down hill. I think they get tired, hungry and then the grouchies come on. Between the hours of two and four I spend my afternoon yelling at the boys to nap, of which Riah is usually the only one that will nap. Then from the hours five to seven I am yelling because the boys did not nap and they are pure monsters, tormenting each other, screaming, crying and being down right naughty. Yes, believe it, my boys can be naughty! I have expressed my frustration to Michael, however the boys behave for him. He gives them “the look” and they just listen. I have tried “the look”, the yelling, the spankings, the time outs, the nice calm and collected… pretty much everything – to no avail! What the heck!?!?!
Well, all that to say that yesterday the boys and I were in the backyard and everyone was happy, behaving and I did snap a few pictures that I thought I would share with you… also as a reminder to myself that my boys are cute and lovable – when they want to be!
