Well this week I tried my hand at making envelope throw pillows. It was so simple! Like most sewing projects the cutting out of each pillow took way longer than the actual sewing of the items. I made three pillows and I love the pop of color that it adds to the plain blue couches. I will admit that although I looked up various directions I wound up winging it. At the bottom of the first tutorial they explain how to make the pillow if you are not making the detailed pillow size, that was what I used since I made two 16″ and one 14″ pillow.
Oh, yeah and as you can see I wound up not using any of the patterns for throw pillows that I asked about! Hehehe! I was at Hobby Lobby this week and their duck canvas was on sale and I couldn’t resist. I got two and a half yards for $9.53… So I decided that was the way to go.
