Okay, so maybe dilemma is too much but, this goes back to being Decorating Challenged… So this is my vision…

So I found a few napkins that I liked and I thought that I could use them to make some throw pillows. I purchased them and brought them home and now I am in a quandary… Which one/ones do I like best. I am wanting my upper living room to be the more “grown up” location, a simple sitting/gathering area. It is a large room that shares the space with my kitchen, dinning room and leads out to the back decks. I invision this area being the winter spot for sitting and reading a good book and sipping my hot tea.
This is where you come in… which napkin do you like? Granted the napkins are just laying over my current/boring pillows. The navy couch and chair are staying, what would help to bring a little fun, but still grown up and practical to the area?

I guess the other piece to the puzzle is that I am planning on buying some sheer curtains to put on my wall of windows. We have a huge backyard to admire and would like to take advantage of that afternoon sun, to warm the house in the winter.
Once we (strike that)… once Michael gets the time to paint, this room will be painted what we have coined as “our color”. It is a warm yellow tint that changes with the sun… with indirect light it is a warm yellow and with direct light it becomes a beige color.
I really only have two walls in the entire space that came be art walls… one over the dinning table and one over the couch. I am thinking over the couch I would like to make a collage wall of family pictures. I see maple frames with white and blue mats and various family pictures. If I can find the perfect wording I would like to have the center of the wall have a simple wood word “Family”.
I have the visions but I can never see how it will all come together. I know it is a process. I read not that long along on a blog that I follow, that sometimes the best spaces are those that took time, searching and special pieces to make them your favorite (my own words from my recollection).
Any suggestions? Ideas?
