Back in October I found a Groupon for a canvas and cocktail place. I invited my Facebook friends to purchase along with me so we could have a girls’ night out. Two friends bought it but with the time running out I was only able to coordinate with one friend for a girls’ night out. We grabbed some dinner and then stepped out of our boxes. The night was fun, it was a stretch for both of us. My friend enjoys sewing quilts and likes everything to match up. I am not an artsy person, I can copy like no one’s business but I am not one to come up with ideas on my own and when it comes to drawing and painting I am of preschool skill levels. Needless to say the night was a fun night but there were a few times that the instructor came to our table to remind us to stop over thinking. Right now my piece of art is sitting below where it eventually will be hung, maybe I will get it hung before too much time passes!
