Seven years ago the hubby and I said “I do”. These past seven years have not been easy, the road has had it’s bumps and dark alleys but when we said “I do”, we knew it would not be easy but we decided we would stick it out together. Last weekend our friends watched our boys overnight so we could have a date night… granted dates come usually twice a year so I was SUPER excited to get out of the house, put some make up on and spend some time with hubby. We debated over what we were going to do and then honestly I lost my cool over his lack of excitement over date night, he would have been fine going to Outback and coming home and watching television. I had plans of going to a nice restaurant enjoying a hot meal and then walking around downtown holding hands. Needless to say we speak two different languages and we wound up dropping off the boys and hubby said to me, “So what do you want to do?” “Really, you did not plot and plan out our whole night to make it special?” I was peeved but decided to let it go… good thing too because he did have our night planned he just likes pulling my leg! Dinner and a movie were on our docket. But more than that we had time to chat, we sat and talked, without me having to worry about cutting someone’s meat or picking up a glass of water that got spilled. We got to be adults on a date! Yeah for date night! I love getting one on one time with my hubby, even if I know he would rather be at home in his jammies snuggled on the couch watching television! Love you Kulow!
