After two months of excuses, some good, some not so much – I went back to the gym this morning. The last time I was at the gym was the last week of November. Between the passing of my grandma, the trip to Washington, hubby’s surgery, the holidays, new year’s resolution avoidance and the crud I managed to let two months slip by.
Today I woke up at five and headed to the gym. It felt good to get up and get there, I am sure if we talk again around two this afternoon I might have a different opinion. After the gym I got on the scale and to my amazement I had lost some weight… my goal is a mere 19 pounds away. There was definitely a sense of motivation that came over me. I think I can reach my goal by May, just in time for summer!
