Our little back yard flock is growing and doing well. Hubby put up a fence to try and keep the sassy flock to the back portion of our yard, they still get around it but are getting better. The chickens are now twelve weeks old, which means in about four to six weeks we should be getting our first eggs. I will say that I am still having my doubts that we have four ladies, I am thinking that there is a roo among the girls! I told hubby that we will wait for an egg or a crow and then decide what we will do. I learned that trying to get four chickens to all be in the frame is a challenge, the phrase; “chasing chickens” is real and alive in the backyard!
