I know that I had said that I was not sure what our house would look like for Christmas, whether we would have a tree or not. Life got sure crazy the week after Thanksgiving and the thought of facing Christmas was a daunting task. Well, you can rest assured knowing that I will not scar my children this year for the lack of Christmas cheer here. Wednesday night we headed to Home Depot and bought a fake tree that was super discounted and put it up. The corner of our sitting room now looks fit for Christmas morning. The boys got to put all the ornaments on the tree and they are so proud of it. The hubby and I were not too proud to be purchasing a fake tree however it fits the space and it is what it is. So now four days before Christmas I feel a little bit in the spirit. Presents are all wrapped, school is out, and we will spend the next four days with friends and family.
