Yeah, so you know how I was questioning… to garden or to not… to get chickens or not… Well I dove head first in this past weekend. We got our chicks on Sunday and I planted my starter seeds on Sunday too. Look I already have some sprouting. Here in Colorado plants are not really safe to be planted outside until Mother’s Day Weekend. So I have begun everything indoors and we will transplant them all outside in about three weeks. Of course right now we are still sitting in snow. Since the first week of April we have had a weekly snow storm that has blown in Monday night and dumps Monday night through Tuesday and by the weekend we get into the sixties. This week was no different. Snow came in Monday night snowed yesterday and we are looking at temperatures in the seventies this weekend. Gotta love the “Spring” weather here in Colorado!
