Yeah, for peddle bikes! Middle brother got a peddle bike for his birthday. He has moved from a Strider to a peddle bike. The change has been pretty smooth, he is not completely gung hoe about it, it takes a lot more work – practice makes perfect is what I tell him each fall he takes. Peddling takes a little more leg work that he is used to. He is doing a great job however, super proud of him!
On another note big brother had asked for a pogo stick for Christmas and his Papa and Gigi were much obliging. When Papa and Gigi were here a few weeks ago they bought me a ticker so that I could keep track of his bounces and still be present enough to keep my eyes on the other brothers. Well, today big brother was determined to top his best record of 172. Apparently 205 is the most bounces this little pogo stick could handle at once! Brother was bouncing down the street following me as I was getting little brother and out of the corner of my eye I see Big brother bounce down and then pop up, as he popped up the whole bottom of the stick fell out and brother landed on his face. He jumped up and asked, “Mom, how many jumps did I get mom?” “205” “That’s all that matters, I beat my record!” Love that kid!
