Spring! Oh I love it! Not that we had a long or hard winter but the majesty of Spring sings so loudly after everything has been brown and cold. Today as I was leaving to take big brother to school I walked by my lilac bush which has green buds on it and my heart got excited. Once I dropped big brother off at school I came home and opened all the windows and doors. By nine this morning it was 56 degrees. Yes, I realize that is not super warm but the songs of the Spring birds, the light breeze and the green buds and grass can’t be denied. I too realize that the forecast for Denver has rain/snow coming in next Monday so this Spring weather won’t last too long but I will take advantage of it while I can. Middle brother has come down with a little bug so we will be staying inside while his tummy works through whatever, so the sounds and smells of Spring are ever so welcome to invade my home through open windows and doors.
