A day full of fun… and it is only 3 o’clock right now! This morning we woke up made/had breakfast and then took big brother to school for a reading test.
His teacher said that she is so proud of just how far he has come in the year! He is not up to where she would like all the kids to be but making leaps and bounds in a forward motion! Yay, big brother.
After that we went to a friend’s house for a play date. All three brothers played in her back yard with her son (he is between big and middle brother in age). All the boys were in boy heaven… rocks to climb, dirt/mud to smoosh in, and trains to work. When we left her house at lunch time my boys had to get a change of clothes on to even get in the car. We came home and while I made lunches the brothers played in out muddy backyard. Brothers, washed hands to eat lunch and then we headed to the front yard to ride bikes and play some more. By 1:30 I brought all the brothers inside, they all took showers and changed into their third change of clothes for the day. Right now everyone is napping peacefully and I am enjoying the quiet time myself.
