Hard Working

Let me just brag on my husband for a little here… Michael is such a hard worker!  He has been working a ton lately.  Last week Zeke and I were talking about daddy and Zeke said, “Mom, I am glad that you get to stay home with me and don’t have to go to work like other moms.”  This started because he wanted to play with some friends and we couldn’t because their moms and dads have to work and that means that the friends have to go to day care.  I explained that the reason that I get to stay home is because we have a daddy that thinks it is very important for me to stay home with our boys that he works double hard.
The last two weeks have been examples of his double work!  Last week he worked almost every night until nine, when the sun sets and then would leave around seven in the morning.  This week began on Sunday night when he left at five and didn’t get home until one in the morning.  He went to work around ten on Monday however we were already gone for the day of activities.   He came home in time for me to leave for my first MOPS steering meeting for the 12/13 MOPS year.  Tuesday, Michael left the house at six thirty in the morning and did not get home until three in the morning this morning.  The boys and I left the house at a quarter to eight to begin our day and Michael slept until eleven and is now off to work and won’t be home until two or three in the morning.
Phew, just recalling it all is tiring!  But I know that he does it so that I can be home with our three sons, he does it so we can have food on our table, a roof over our head, a car for me to drive… the list goes on and on!  I am truly blessed!  I know that it is hard on him and I am thankful that it is only seasonally this crazy… I know come winter time his schedule will not be so rigorous, however when there is work to be done he is on top of it!
