Okay, so maybe not really, but today we went to a travel trailer sale and as we were walking through each of the trailers I had a nagging thought… “What if we sold everything and just lived in a trailer?” I started following a blogger recently who is doing just that. She and her family sold everything and bought an airstream and are traveling around the states for a year homeschooling their kids and just simplifying. That sounds so nice! Granted there are times that even our sixteen hundred square feet home is not enough for us, but the desire to sell everything and just live simply is a wonderful thought. So often I think I get caught up in making our house nice and needing “stuff” to do that, that I forget the blessings that I have… a roof over our heads, a husband that provides for us, and three healthy and happy boys. So although the thought of selling everything and packing what we keep into a 26 foot trailer is somewhat of a pipe dream, I will take the simple reminder that it is just “stuff”. For now we are thankful for our home, even the areas that need improvements and changes!
