For four years now our family has lived in Colorado. We spent one of those Thanksgiving back in San Diego so for other years we have spent Thanksgiving here. The first year we had Thanksgiving we did it big with friends and family. Then the next year we did just our family. Last year I was not in the mood for the big dinner so we had prime rib. This year we did the big dinner just the five of us. As we sat down for our feast we decided that we have to find the happy medium. Not a bunch of people, but not just us. Turkey dinner is what Thanksgiving needs we can’t skimp on that. One of these years we will get it right!?! However, other than the big dinner we watched the parade in the morning and then football the rest of the day. The boys played in the backyard on the dirt jumps that they made and got in a game of hockey with the neighborhood kids. Needless to say it was a really nice day… once we figure out what the happy medium is!
