I was given the privilege to be a part of one of my neighbor’s vow renewal. She had contacted me and asked if I could take pictures for her of the renewal and then some family pictures. I was blown away and in awe that she would ask me… I am far from a professional! I love taking pictures, I enjoy capturing just a portion of the world around me that my eyes see through the camera lens. I informed her multiple times that I am not “that” good, to which she said to me… “You will never become a professional if you are only taking pictures of your kids.” My immediate thought was well I am not aiming to be professional I just am doing what I love and I hope that others (my family) appreciate the snapshots of my boys lives. Anyway, I spent the afternoon with my neighbor and her close family and friends at her and her husband’s vow renewal. Their story and pictures are not mine to share here but I thought a nondescript picture would be fine… What a huge blessing to me to be asked to be a part of their event!
