Since hubby has been working nights a lot lately that means that I have to keep the boys busy outside of the house. This morning the boys and I packed up their back packs and rode bikes to a nearby park. The boys thought it was the coolest thing. I told the boys that I was not going to be responsible for anything, so if they wanted water they needed to get it, if they wanted snacks they needed to get it. So their backpacks were practically packed for the apocalypse, between snacks and Nerf guns, but heck they loved it. After about an hour of playing at the park we rode bikes back home and headed to our local gym for open gym and the boys ran their little hearts out and had a blast. My thought in packing the day so full was two fold… maybe, just maybe a nap and summer is coming to a close and so all the fun and cool stuff we talked about doing I better get to it!
