Because life here in the Kulow house is so boring as it is we decided to add to the fun. On Saturday the boys and I ran some errands and happened to end up at one point at the local animal shelter and middle brother fell in love with a kitten. I will be the first to admit that I am not much of a cat person, I much more prefer dogs, but middle brother was just enamored and did not want to leave the kitten. Well, we did leave that kitten but on Sunday after the hubby and I chatted we decided to find a kitten on craigslist. After not much searching we found two sisters that were ten weeks old and needing a new home. Therefore, we added to our family. Ashi and Shadow are the newest members of the crazy Kulow clan. I was thinking about it today and thought it kind of funny that we have two Girl chickens and now two Girl cats… the girls are taking over; we now have more girls than boys… that is if we count our animals! The other benefit of these little fluff balls is that since we got them on Sunday afternoon the boys have not watched television, they have been so enthralled in the kittens.
