When the hubby and I got married I was not a plant person. I tended to kill them. Up until about two years ago I would forget about them and before I would know it they would be bone dry and hubby would be pestering me about taking care of them. Now if you were to walk into my house you are almost taken over by the plants. They are the same ones that we have had for a long time but I guess a little attention has made them take off. I do now find myself eying plants in the stores. Safeway had planted bulbs on sale, 6 inch pots for $5. Granted not the best price but my rational was that once the fear of frost in done I have the perfect spot to plant them in my backyard. Until that point they are bright and cheery adding to the already green that I have.
