Spring weather is upon us here in Colorado. You know the days that I talking about… seventies, then rain, a mix of snow and then back to seventies. Gotta love the crazy weather! With the crazy weather there are changes that are happening here at the crazy Kulow house. Hubby is busying himself with the chicken coop building and I am readying our garden beds. With all the building and gardening is lending itself to hope and excitement. With each warm day I get a little excitement in my heart and while dirt gathers under my finger nails my soul is at rest! Hubby although he says he is building a chicken coop I think it may resemble that of a chicken compound, cement moats, barbed wire… you get the idea. After two springs of loosing chickens my heart has been, shall I say, less than excited about purchasing and raising more fox food! Hubby I think has taken it on as a personal challenge now, to which I am happy however nervous about the money it will take to create this compound. Being the first weekend of April, garden plans and chickens are just about the only thing on my mind..
