After two days of driving we arrived in San Diego! Yay, to be out of the car. We got into San Diego around three yesterday afternoon and headed straight to MCS. I got to visit with some co-workers, it was so nice to see everyone and chat, afterwards we went to Maranatha Chapel and visited with two of my previous co-workers, then we went to dinner at Karl Strauss… let me just say our eyes were bigger than our tummies. It was happy hour and we had a table full of food! Then we headed to San Diego Volleyball Club so that hubby could visit with his previous co-workers and we let the boys run wild. Hubby and I wanted to make sure that we made time to visit with friends before all the wedding stuff happened and so we planned it all out nicely!
Today was wedding running. Hubby, the boys and I had breakfast with a friend and then I got dropped off with my sister and the wedding running began. As with any wedding there was a lot of lost minute things that needed to be done and handled and today was full of it!
After a bunch of running errands and getting last minute stuff done we had the rehearsal. Being the “wedding coordinator” I had to put on my bossy pants and get people moving. We did a little setting up but most of it is being saved for the morning… oh joy! I am excited to see all the planning and worrying finally come to an end for my littlest sister’s big day!
