Miner’s Maze

img_1455For big and middle brother’s birthdays my parents bought us a day to a local amusement park.  Heritage Square is located just down the street from where we live and I have never taken the boys.  Today I took the boys with one of my friends, her daughter and husband.  The boys had swim lessons this morning and then we headed straight over to the park.  We attacked the maze first thing, not that it is any surprise to anyone that know my boys but I have three leaders – in case you are wondering that does not work well in a maze!  After running in circles for a little while we finally found the stations we needed and then got out of there.  We found a shady spot to eat lunch and then attacked the rest of the Miner’s Maze Adventureland.  There was a rock wall, a ropes course, water walking, bungee trampoline, bouncy house and a climbing spider web.  All three boys were running from one activity to another, with three adults and four kids we were doing pretty darn good.  Around one, hubby called me and said he was heading home to nap with the boys, to which I had to inform him that we were not home.  Hubby detoured and headed to join us.  Five hours of entertainment for everyone, lots of climbing, hanging, jumping and sunshine.
