I have not been really good about getting pictures of our girls up. I will say that I am not as attached to these girls as I was our ones from last summer. These girls are definitely more skiddish and are not as much of love bird as our last batch. I can’t remember if I told you that we did start with four girls… two black and two white. Well back in May one of our black girls got out and was never to be found again. I was really upset about loosing a black one because those seemed to be the better of the two breeds. I will say that if I were to do it again I would most likely get another batch of Rhode Island Reds over the Amber Whites. I understand that they are just cross breeds but I am not a fan of the white chickens… they just look kind of homely to me. Oh well – live and learn!
