One of the great benefit of living where we do is there is a great recreation program. We have not been taking advantage of the pool the last three weeks because of brother’s ear surgery however we headed there on Thursday and spent two hours. That is two hours of getting two little boys tired enough that they both came home and napped. Thursday was one of those days that I felt like, “Ah, this is the momma life!” We played around the house, I got some laundry done and then we went to the pool, two hours of splashing, swimming, jumping and playing. We came home the boys played in the backyard while I made lunch, after lunch the boys both laid down and slept, I jumped in the shower and then spent some quiet time. The boys got up from their naps and we went out front and colored with our chalk. Big brother got home, we ate lunch and then snuggled on the couch and watched a movie. Pretty darn good day. Friday the boys and I headed to the open gym at the gymnastics rec center and they played for an hour. I am amazed at how strong those little men are. I can’t wait until we can get them back at Little Gym to learn some more gymnastics, they love that place! All in all a pretty darn good few days. Keeping these two little boys busy is a full time job but I sure do love it!
