What could be better than family and fun? Well with the family reunion in full swing a few of us ladies had a fun night planned. A few weeks ago my aunt had mentioned doing a “Van Gogh and Merlot” on Facebook which got some chatter going about trying to get a group together while at the reunion. I then got online and found a place in Steamboat Springs called “Splatz” which was the same concept… you paint a pre-determined picture and enjoy a drink or two… or more! So, tonight was the night. We gathered a few bottles of wine and chugged them down before heading on the free bus to the studio. We painted “vase of flowers”. We laughed. We had a blast. I definitely think that this will become a tradition for reunions to come. It was so much fun to have us, ladies together having fun, chatting and doing something artsy.
