I am not going to lie, Spring is one of my favorite seasons… the grass is turning green, the plants are blooming, I am muddy kneed and loving every minute of it. This weekend on the family agenda is yard work. The boys are helping me clean out another “garden bed” of rocks so that we can use it this year to plant some squash and sunflowers. Hubby is busy getting the chicken coop built. The yard is one of my little “sanctuaries” if you will. I am getting excited about what the garden will look like, what the coop will look like and if, just maybe hubby will be able to get the boys tree platform built and what that will look like. The boys got to help daddy paint the base of the chicken coop and loved being a part of the building. I love seeing the boys helping daddy. Middle brother is often daddy’s little foreman on the job, it really warms my heart! With an eager heart and mind I can’t wait for Spring to unleash completely and then summer to be right around the corner.
