One of the neat things about hosting the family reunion in Steamboat Springs is that there are so many things for everyone to do. This weekend there is a hot air balloon rodeo in town, an art festival, a rodeo and many other events. This morning we woke up bright and early and headed to launches. It was one of the neatest experiences in my whole life. We stood in a large field and watched thirty plus balloons take to the sky right in front of us. For a while I stood at a distance and watched the balloons inflate and then I got brave and walked up and stood so close that my cheeks got hot from the fire of the balloon. So stinkin’ incredible to experience!
