Yesterday I got a call from my dad informing me that my mom was having troubles getting a flight from San Diego to Denver for our planned 5K run on Saturday. I was feeling a little worried and then dad followed up his statement with, “Well I guess her personal assistant will just drive her to Denver.” Meaning my dad was going to drop whatever he was doing and make the 21 hour drive with my mom so that they could be here for the weekend! I was too excited, I love it when my parents come to visit because my boys love visiting them so much. Well, mom and dad got into town around ten thirty this morning and I ran them ragged! We headed directly for the pool, then home for lunch, a quick nap and then double header soccer practices, home for dinner and then outside for some bike riding and then in for bed time! They were troopers!
